The Downfall of Physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer: Examining the Causes

In the midst of World War II, J. Robert Oppenheimer led a team of scientists in the US in a race against Nazi Germany to create the first nuclear weapon. This weapon, known as the atomic bomb, was ultimately used to devastating effect in the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japan.
