David Attenborough’s ‘Hold Your Breath’ Moments in Planet Earth III

From coasts to deserts to cities, BBC’s Planet Earth III series explores the diversity, drama, and vulnerability of the natural world through eight gripping episodes shot over the course of five years. In this interview, David Attenborough and executive producer Mike Gunton discuss some of their intense moments from the series and how the filming of unique animal behavior is contributing to science. In one scene, a leopard high in a tree attacks an antelope buck. Attenborough reflects on this moment, realizing that his words are not necessary as the incredible footage speaks for itself.
